Toyama
Fukurou
A Place to Savour the Essence of Toyama’s Seasonal Flavours
A distinctive establishment offering different experiences on weekdays and weekends. Weekend service highlights soba made from the "Yatsuo native variety," cultivated with Toyama’s clear water and natural environment, then stone-milled and fully hand-cut for a refined finish. Sweets made with soba flour present aromatic flavor with restrained calories, creating a satisfying yet light indulgence. Weekdays feature the visually striking "Hanakago Fermentation Gozen," a set of obanzai prepared with house-made fermented seasonings and seasonal local ingredients, with flavors enriched by wild mountain and field produce gathered by the owner. Lunch service concludes once items sell out, while evening dining operates by reservation only.

Kappo Kawaguchi
A Long-Established Japanese Restaurant in Imizu Where You Can Enjoy the Seasonal Blessings of Toyama Bay
A kappo restaurant that prides itself on seafood from Toyama Bay, such as white shrimp and snow crab. You can enjoy a variety of dishes using fresh seafood unique to Toyama Bay, which the owner personally auctioned off at Shinminato Fishing Port. The snow crab, which can be enjoyed from November to early spring, is especially delicious. In addition, the popular "Shiraebi Zen Special" is full of white shrimp, including somen with white shrimp kneaded into the dough and crispy fried white shrimp. It is a famous restaurant that has many repeat customers, not only locals but also tourists visiting from outside the prefecture. There is also a sister restaurant nearby that is an izakaya type restaurant, so I would like to use it as well. Let's enjoy the delicious seafood of the Sea of Japan to your heart's content.
