Takahata Winery

A Noteworthy Winery Rising in the Tohoku Region

Founded in 1990 in Takahata Town, Yamagata—an area blessed with a favorable natural environment and extensive expe' ience in grape cultivation known as 'Mahoroba no Sato'—"Takahata Winery" pursues the goal of creating wines of quality that a local winery can present to the world with pride, guided by the strong belief that even if it takes 100 years, such wines will be achieved through continued collaboration with grape growers. At the facility, the production process can be observed, and wine tastings are available, while the winery shop offers staff-assisted wine selection, including certified sommeliers, along with a wide range of souvenirs. The adjoining "Gottzonare Takahata" also serves wine and light meals.
