Tanaka Shrine, a Kitaden Branch Known for Cutting Unlucky Ties
As a branch of the main shrine's northern hall, Tanaka Shrine features two halls set back-to-back: the east hall, said to cut off bad relationships, and the west hall, believed to bring good ones. This ancient shrine, with records dating back to before the Nara period, is known for helping to remove difficult and unwanted ties, including those between romantic partners. Many visitors come to pray and reflect. Unique fortune slips can also be found beside the shrine hall.

Utakisha Shrine – For Beauty, Purity, and Inner Peace
As Shimoteruhime-no-Mikoto, the enshrined deity, is known as a beautiful goddess, this auxiliary shrine is believed to lead worshippers toward both inner and outer beauty and purity. Prayers are offered through ofuda (paper charms), ema (wooden plaques), and omamori (protective amulets). Visitors write their wishes on charming ema, which are then hung at the shrine. A cherry blossom shape can be removed from the ema, placed in a small bag, and carried home as a personal talisman.

Don’t miss the Yumi-ishi (bow stone), which is associated with the birth of the enshrined deity, Sada-no-Ōkami.
