Omura Park, which was selected as one of "Japan's Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots," is one of the prefecture's most famous flower spots, with cherry blossoms and irises blooming. As a comprehensive park built around the ruins of Kushimazaki Castle overlooking Omura Bay, it has become a place of relaxation for citizens. Approximately 2,000 cherry trees, including Yoshino cherry trees and Omurazakura, a nationally designated natural monument, bloom in the park from late March to mid-April. There are periods when you can enjoy the illuminations, so why not enjoy the relaxing spring nights?

At Kameoka Park, which is adjacent to Hirado Castle, a cherry blossom festival is held every April at Sakura Plaza, which is also within the precincts of Kameoka Shrine. Around mid-April, the rare Nidozakizakura, which has buds inside its petals, blooms.
