This ocean-view inn is located on the coast of Nagaura Island in Kami Amakusa City, Kumamoto Prefecture. It is an annex of the "Ryokan Nakashimaso" and boasts guest rooms where you can enjoy a close-up view of the sea, and meals made with fresh seafood. The scenery of the sea and sky changes from moment to moment with each season, and you will be overwhelmed by its beauty, especially at sunset. We also recommend the mystical view of the moonlight illuminating the waves on a clear night. Ryokan Suiranro, which stands on the banks of the Kuma River, a first-class river in Kumamoto Prefecture, has been revived after being damaged by heavy rains in July 2020. Hitoyoshi Onsen is the birthplace of Hitoyoshi Onsen, and is a beautiful inn that has been protecting the source since 1910 and boasts a rich source of natural hot spring water. All rooms will be renewed in February 2023, and some rooms will have semi-open-air baths. You can enjoy bathing as much as you like, whenever you like. You will be able to enjoy and soothe the ever-changing nature from anywhere within the museum. The head chef is particular about local production and seasonal ingredients, and serves dishes that can only be enjoyed while traveling. The guest rooms, which are limited to 8 groups, are built in the style of a luxury villa, and the exterior has a modern design with galvanized steel exterior walls and wood. The best part is that each guest room is equipped with an open-air bath with a different style. Because we use our own abundant source of water, we use 100% free-flowing water from the source. I'm also happy that the bathtub is spacious enough for two adults.
