The view at night with a full moon is even more special. The gently swaying waves shine like jewels, centering on the "moon path" drawn by moonlight on the sea. The breathtaking scenery can be seen from the east-facing windows for about two days before and after the full moon, so be sure to visit.

In 1994, Mitarai, Toyo-machi, Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture, was selected by the national government as an Important Preservation County for Groups of Traditional Buildings. The town has changed since the mid-17th century with the development of the port, and the atmosphere of being a transit port on the Seto Inland Sea still remains, with Western-style buildings built from the Taisho period to the early Showa period.
